Williams Eatery was a long time dream of brother’s Charles and Patrick. After owning the iconic Ceremony cafe in Grafton and Homestead in Hillsborough, the brothers wanted to create an oasis in the newly developing Wynyard Quarter precinct. Influenced by the workmanship of Japanese joinery and the minimalism of a gallery experience, the William’s brothers wanted to create a venue where workers could come to escape and recharge, a welcoming, calming space where warm service and excellent food and beverages were on offer. Having won best cafe in Auckland, they achieved what they started out to do.
